The Reduplicates are clones that Ambrose Gethic created using a combination of magic and science. The Reduplicates are nearly perfect clones expect Gethic cannot stabilize the cellular structure of the human epidermis skin. The clones quickly degenerate but they are preternaturally powerful and dangerous. After Gethic died the Reduplicates returned to dust and gooey bits
